Was the Power Windows System Check performed?

  1. Access the RH front door lock and side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 (DMM) to CKT 1001 (DK GRN), terminal D at the side window lockout switch connector and ground.
  4. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 4

Locate and repair the open or the high resistance in CKT 1001 (DK GRN) between the RH Front door lock and side window switch connector and terminal D of the side window lockout switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Place the side lockout switch in the NORMAL (UNLOCKED) position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal B at the side window lockout switch connector and ground.
  4. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 5

Inspect for a poor connection at the side window lockout switch.

Is the connection OK?

Go to Step 7

Repair the connection as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the side window lockout switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Access the RH rear side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Place the side lockout switch in the NORMAL (UNLOCKED) position.
  4. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal D at the RH rear side window switch connector to ground.
  5. Ensure the connector remains connected.
  6. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 10

Locate and repair the open or the high resistance in CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal B at the side window lockout switch and terminal B at the RH rear side window switch connector.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the RH rear side window switch.
