Was the Power Windows System Check performed?

  1. Access the RH door lock and side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Place the side window lockout switch in the LOCKED position.
  4. Connect a J 39200 (DMM) to CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal B at the side window lockout switch and ground.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 3

Replace the side window lockout switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Place the side window lockout switch in the LOCKED position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 1307 (DK BLU) at S306 and ground.
  4. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 5

Repair the short to voltage in CKT 1307 (DK BLU) between the side window lockout switch and S306.
