Was the Outside Mirror System Check performed?

Go to Step 2

1. Disconnect the inoperative power outside mirror connector.
2. Position the selector switch to the inoperative power mirror.
3. Connect a test lamp between CKT 1496 (YEL) cavity C and ground.
4. Press the switch to the up and down / right and left position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step  3

Go to Step 4

Replace the inoperative power outside mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement in doors.

Is the repair complete?

--

Refer to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

1. Locate and repair open in CKT 1496 (YEL) between the inoperative power outside mirror and the power mirror switch.
2. If there is no open, replace the power mirror switch.
