Have you performed the Power Seats System Check?

  1. Ensure that the motor connector is connected.
  2. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  3. Backprobe the rear height motor connector terminal A.
  4. Operate the power seat adjuster switch to the rear UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

  1. Ensure that the motor connector remains connected.
  2. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  3. Backprobe the rear height motor connector terminal B.
  4. Operate the power seat adjuster switch to the rear DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Replace the seat rear height motor.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Access the power seat adjuster switch.
  2. Remove the torx screw.
  3. Remove the cover.
  4. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  5. Probe the terminal connected to the YEL wire.
  6. Operate the power seat adjuster switch to the rear UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Access the power seat adjuster switch.
  2. Remove the torx screw.
  3. Remove the cover.
  4. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  5. Probe the terminal connected to the LT BLU wire.
  6. Operate the power seat adjuster switch to the rear DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance inthe YEL wire between the power seat adjuster switch and the seat rear height motor.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in the LT BLU wire between the power seat adjuster switch and the seat rear height motor.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Seats System Check

Replace the power seat adjuster switch.
