Has the Heated Seat System Check been performed?

Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position andinspect the CRUISE fuse 3 in the IP fuse block. Is the fuse good?

Locate and repair the short to ground in CKT 41(BRN) and/or CKT 1501 (PNK) and replace the fuse.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Heated Seats System Check

Connect a test lamp between ground and the lumbar and heat switch cavity C. Does the lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair the open in CKT 41(BRN) between the lumbar and heat switch and the IP fuse block cavity G7.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Heated Seats System Check

Connect a test lamp between ground and the lumbar and heat switch cavity B. Does the test lamp light dim on LOW and bright on High?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Replace the lumbar and heat switch.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a test lamp between ground and the seat heater module cavity C. Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 10

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1501(PNK) between the lumbar and heat switch and the seat heater module cavity C.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect the HTD SEAT fuse in the underhood fuse block.

Is the fuse good?

Go to Step 12

Locate and repair the short to ground in CKT 2240 (ORN) and replace the fuse.

Is the repair complete?

Connect a test lamp between ground and the seat heater module cavity A. Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 14

Go to Step 13

Locate and repair the open in CKT 2240 (ORN) between the seat heater module and the underhood fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Heated Seats System Check

Disconnect the seat heater module connector and connect a DMM between ground and the seat heater module cavity B and check for continuity. Do you have continuity?

Go to Step 15

Replace the seat heater module.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1350 (BLK) between seat heater module and G450.

Is the repair complete?
