Have you performed the Power Seats System Check?

  1. Access the power seat adjuster switch.
  2. Remove the torx screw.
  3. Remove the cover.
  4. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  5. Probe the terminal connected to the LT GRN wire.
  6. Operate the seat recliner switch to the FRONT position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  2. Probe the terminal connected to LT BLU wire .
  3. Operate the seat recliner switch to the BACK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

  1. Ensure that the motor connector is connected.
  2. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  3. Backprobe the power seat recliner motor connector terminal A.
  4. Operate the power seat recliner motor switch to the FRONT position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Ensure that the motor connector remains connected.
  2. Connect a test lamp to ground.
  3. Backprobe the power seat recliner motor connector terminal B.
  4. Operate the power seat recliner motor switch to the BACK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the seat recliner motor.

Replace the power seat adjuster switch.

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in the LT GRN wire between the power seat adjuster switch and the seat recliner motor.

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in the LT BLU wire between the power seat adjuster switch and the seat recliner motor.
