Each seat incorporates a seat back lumbar support in order to mechanically change the contour of the seat. Ground is supplied at all times to both seat back lumbar support switches. When the seat back lumbar support switch is actuated one way or the other, voltage is applied and current flows in the corresponding direction through the seat back lumbar support motor.
