  1. From the rear of the seat, access C317 (C315 RH).
  2. Using a test lamp connected to ground, backprobe C317 (C315 RH), terminal C.

Does the test lamp light?

Operate the power seat switch.

Does the test lamp remain ON?

  1. From the rear of the seat, access C317 (C315 RH).
  2. Using a test lamp, backprobe C317 (C315 RH) between terminal B and terminal C.

Does the test lamp light?

Operate the power seat switch

Does the test lamp remain ON?

  1. Access the seat adjuster switch.
  2. Remove the torx screw.
  3. Remove the cover.
  4. Using a test lamp connected to ground, probe the terminal connected to the ORN wire.

Does the test lamp light?

Operate the power seat switch.

Does the test lamp remain ON?

  1. Access the seat adjuster switch.
  2. Remove the torx screw.
  3. Remove the cover.
  4. Using a test lamp connected to ground, probe the terminal connected to the ORN wire and the terminal connected to the BLK wire.

Does the test lamp light?

Operate the power seat switch.

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1440 between body relay block terminal B1 and C317 (C315 RH), terminal C.

Locate and repair the open circuit in the body relay block or the circuit breaker.

Did the power seat circuit breaker click when you operated the seat adjuster switch?

Locate and repair the high resistance in CKT 1440 between C317 (C315 RH), terminal C and the power seat circuit breaker.
