A DTC may be cleared from the memory of the electronic
climate control (ECC) module by performing one of the following procedures:
| • | Disconnect the battery. |
| • | Disconnect the electronic climate control module electrical connector. |
| • | Create 100 concurrent ignition cycles without the fault
reoccurring. |
Clearing DTC(s) from the electronic climate control module memory is
necessary after a repair or to test if a malfunction will occur again. If
the fault still exists the DTC will re-set after clearing the
DTC(s).
