For 1990-2009 cars only
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Remove the rear brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement in Disc Brakes.
- Inspect the park brake shoe and lining for the following conditions:
- If any of the above conditions were found, replace the park brake shoe/lining. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement .
- Adjust the park brake. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment in Park Brake.
- Install the rear brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement in Disc Brakes.
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Lower the vehicle.
