Charge Air Cooler Cover Cleaning and Inspection
Inspect the cover for the following:
| • | Damaged seal surfaces (1) |
| • | Leaking, restricted, or damaged charge air coolers (2, 3) |
Inspect the water manifold for the following:
| • | Damaged seal surfaces (1) |
| • | Leaking coolant fill adapter (3) |
| • | Damaged coolant hose fitting sealing surfaces (4) |
Supercharger Cleaning and Inspection
- Inspect the supercharger for the following:
| • | Damaged seal surfaces (1) |
| • | Worn or damaged belt pulley grooves (2) |
- Rotate the pulley of the supercharger by hand. The pulley and rotors should rotate freely with no binding.
- Operate the boost bypass valve by hand. The bypass valve should operate within the full range of motion with no sticking or binding.
