CLUTCH DRIVEN DISC & PRESSURE PLATE - IMPROVEMENTS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-86 'J' MODELS EQUIPPED WITH 2.0L AND MANUAL TRANSAXLES

The 1987 'J' car clutch system design has been up-graded and improved for the current model year. A new clutch driven disc and pressure plate assembly has been released. When servicing clutch systems from previous model years (1985-1986) it is recommended that the up-graded clutch components be installed.

This bulletin provides the parts information for th.e new clutch components and application. The part numbers are as follows:
