INOPERATIVE LOW COOL LIGHT LIGHT OPERATION OUTLINED

MODEL AND YEAR: 1987 CAVALIER 2.0L (V.I.N. CODE 1)

TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

During the 1987 model year, a change has been made to the low engine coolant light system of the 2.OL L-4 (V.I.N. Code 1) Cavalier. The light will no longer illuminate on the instrument panel at low coolant levels on vehicles produced after the V.I.N. breakpoints listed.

Dealers should not attempt to repair or alter this as-built condition.
