The 1987 Cavalier Z-24 must not be towed with sling-type equipped trucks from the front.

Page 15 of the General Motors 1987 Passenger Car and Light Truck Towing Instructions Manual (T58) doesn't indicate this change.

The 1987 Cavalier Z-24 can be transported with either wheel-lift or rollback equipment or towed from the rear.
