  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Disconnect the suspect door jamb switch.

Do the interior lamps turn off?

Replace the malfunctioning door jamb switch.

Disconnect the panel dimmer switch.

Do the interior lamps turn off?

Disconnect the luggage compartment lamp.

Do the interior lamps turn off?

Backprobe the multifunction alarm module between terminal F of connector C2 and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

B+

Backprobe the dome lamp between terminal A (uplevel) or terminal B (base and sunroof) and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

B+

Go to Step  10

Repair the open in CKT 156 between the dome lamp and the multifunction alarm module. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
