  1. Drive the vehicle above 40 km/h (25 mph).
  2. Place the cruise ON/OFF button in the ON position.
  3. Depress and release the SET button.
  4. Remove your foot from the accelerator pedal.

The vehicle maintains the set speed.

Cruise Control Inoperative

  1. Move the RESUME/ACCEL switch to the right and hold the switch until the vehicle speed increases by 6.4-8.0 km/h (4-5 mph).
  2. Release the switch.

The vehicle accelerates and maintains the new higher set speed.

Does Not Resume, Accelerate, or Tap Up or Down

  1. Depress and hold the cruise control SET/COAST switch until the vehicle speed decreases by 6.4-8.0 km/h (4-5 mph).
  2. Release the switch.

The vehicle decelerates and maintains the new lower speed, provided that the speed is above 40 km/h (25 mph).

Does Not Resume, Accelerate, or Tap Up or Down

Press the brake pedal slightly.

The cruise control disengages. (The memory is unchanged)

Cruise Control Inoperative

Tap, and quickly release, the RESUME/ACCEL button to the right.

The vehicle accelerates to and maintains the previously set speed.

Does Not Resume, Accelerate, or Tap Up or Down

Tap, and quickly release, (less than 3/4 of a second) the RESUME/ACCEL button once (tap-up).

The vehicle speed increases by approximately 1.6 km/h (1 mph) and maintains the new set speed.

Does Not Resume, Accelerate, or Tap Up or Down

Tap, and quickly release, (less than 3/4 of a second) the SET button once (tap-down).

The vehicle speed decreases by approximately 1.6 km/h (1 mph) and maintains the new set speed.

Move the cruise control ON/OFF switch to the OFF position

The cruise control disengages.
