The reveal molding is a vinyl trim that fills the cavity between the body and the window edge. A urethane adhesive retains the reveal molding.

Removal Procedure

  1. Cut the rear window reveal molding in order to allow access to the body pinchweld.
  2. Carefully cut the remaining portion of the reveal molding out of the cavity between the window and the body.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the service reveal molding to the body.
  2. Remove the urethane from the cavity in order to ensure a proper fit.
  3. Apply urethane in the cavity between the body and the window.
  4. Install the rear window reveal molding onto the rear window. Align the corners of the rear window reveal molding with the corners of the rear window.
  5. Tape the reveal molding.
  6. Remove any excess urethane.
