  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Disconnect the suspect door jamb switch.

Do the interior lamps go out?

Do the interior lamps go out?

Backprobe the multifunction alarm module between terminal F of connector C2 and ground with a DMM.

Is the voltage measured within the specified range?

battery positive voltage

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 10

Backprobe the dome lamp between terminal A (uplevel) or terminal B (base and sunroof) and ground with the DMM and measure the voltage.

Is the measured voltage within the specified range?

battery positive voltage

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 10

Repair the open in circuit 156 between the dome lamp and the multifunction alarm module. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the multifunction alarm module.
