- Raise the vehicle on a hoist with the suspension safely supported
at ride height.
- Disconnect the radio connectors.
- Use the J 35616
in order to connect the J 39200
to the radio connector C1 cavities (CKT 817)
and 5 (CKT 350). Red to 16, Black to 5.
- Set the J 39200
to measure DC Volts.
- Push the Hz button 1 time on the J 39200
(Hz should be displayed on the right side of the J 39200
screen).
- Start the vehicle.
- Depress the brake pedal.
- Put the vehicle in forward gear.
- Release the pressure on the brake pedal.
- Accelerate the vehicle to maintain a constant speed of 40 kph
(25 mph).
- Inspect the value on displayed on the J 39200
