GM engineers designed the fixed antenna in order to withstand most car washes without damage. You cannot adjust the fixed antenna up or down. If the mast becomes slightly bent, straighten the mast by hand. If the mast becomes severely bent, replace the antenna.

1. Remove the antenna mast (2) from the base.
2. Remove the lead-in (4) from the antenna bracket (1).
3. Remove the screws (5) from the antenna bracket (1).
4. Remove the antenna bracket from the bezel (3).
5. Remove the bezel (3).

1. Install the bezel (3) to the quarter panel.
2. Install the lead-in (4) to the bracket (1).
3. Install the bracket (1) to the bezel (3).
4. Install the bracket retaining screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

5. Install the antenna mast (2) to the base.
