Did you perform the remote keyless entry system check?

  1. Connect a test light between the remote control door lock receiver connector terminal A and ground.
  2. Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.

Does the test light flash?

Go to Step 3

  1. Connect a test light between the receiver connector terminal E and terminal A.
  2. Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.

Does the test light flash?

Go to Step 4

  1. Disconnect the LF door lock motor connector.
  2. Connect the test light the connector terminal A and ground.
  3. Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.

Does the test light flash?

Replace the remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Receiver Replacement .

  1. Connect the test light between the LF door lock motor connector terminal A and terminal B.
  2. Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.

Does the test light flash?

Repair an open in CKT 694 between the receiver connector terminal A and the motor connector terminal A. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair an open in CKT 295 between the motor connector terminal B and S248. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
