  1. Disconnect the door lock relay connector.
  2. Connect a test light between the door lock relay connector terminal C and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Connect the test light between the door lock relay connector terminal C and terminal D.

Does the test light illuminate?

Repair an open in CKT 1240 between S307 and the door lock relay connector terminal C. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

  1. Connect the test light between the door lock relay connector terminal A and ground.
  2. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the LOCK position.

Does the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 7

Repair an open in CKT 250 between the door lock relay connector terminal D and ground. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Connect the test light between the door lock relay connector terminal F and ground.
  2. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.

Does the test light illuminate?

Measure the voltage in CKT 1240 between the suspect door switch connector terminal F and ground.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Repair an open in CKT 1240 between the suspect door lock switch connector terminal F and the fuse block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair an open in CKT 195 between the door lock relay connector terminal A and S301. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Reconnect the door lock relay.
  2. Connect the test light between the door lock relay connector terminal B and ground.
  3. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the LOCK position.

Repair an open in CKT 194 between the door lock relay connector terminal F and S300. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Connect the test light between the door lock relay connector terminal E and ground.
  2. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.

Does the test light illuminate?

  1. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.
  2. Measure the voltage in CKT 294 between S303 and ground.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Repair an open in CKT 294 between the door lock relay connector terminal E and S303. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the LOCK position.
  2. Measure the voltage in CKT 295 between S248 and ground

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Repair an open in CKT 295 between the door lock relay connector terminal B and S248. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
