Did you perform the power door locks system check?

Go to Step  2

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Measure the voltage in CKT 1240 at the suspect door lock switch connector terminal F and ground.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Go to Step  3

Go to Step  4

  1. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the LOCK position.
  2. Measure the voltage at the following locations:
  3. • LF door lock switch - between the switch connector terminal C and ground
    • RF, RR, or LR door lock switch - between the switch connector terminal B and ground

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Go to Step  5

Go to Step  6

Repair an open in CKT 1240 between terminal F of the faulty switch and ground. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

--

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

  1. Hold the suspect door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.
  2. Measure the voltage at the following locations:
  3. • LF door lock switch - between the switch connector terminal B and ground
    • RF, RR, or LR door lock switch - between the switch connector terminal C and ground

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Go to Step  7

Go to Step  6

Replace the suspect door lock switch. Refer to Door Lock Switch Replacement .

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Hold the LF door lock switch in the LOCK position.

Do the doors lock?

--

Go to Step  9

Repair an open in CKT 195 between the LF door lock switch connector terminal C and S301. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Hold the RF, RR, or LR door lock switch in the LOCK position.

Do the doors lock?

--

Go to Step  11

Repair an open in CKT 195 between the switch connector terminal B and S301. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Hold the LF door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.

Do the doors unlock?

--

Go to Step  13

Go to Step  12

Repair the open in CKT 195 between the LF door lock switch connector terminal B and S300.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Hold the RF, RR, or LR door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.

Do the doors unlock?

Go to Power Door Locks System Check

Go to Step  14

Repair the open in CKT 195 between the switch connector terminal C and S300.

Replace bad actuator.
