Removal Procedure

  1. Place the sunroof into the vent position.

  2. Object Number: 280687  Size: MH
  3. Place the sunroof sunshade (2) into the open position.
  4. Push the guide on the left front sunroof sunshade toward the middle of the vehicle.
  5. This will overcome the spring pressure and disengage the guide on the left front sunroof sunshade.

  6. Use a flat bladed tool in order to disengage the left front sunroof sunshade.
  7. Slide the sunroof sunshade (2) into the closed position.
  8. Push the guide on the left rear sunroof sunshade toward the middle of the vehicle.
  9. This will overcome the spring pressure and disengage the guide on the left rear sunroof sunshade.

  10. Use a flat bladed tool in order to disengage the left rear sunroof sunshade.
  11. Remove the sunroof sunshade (2) from the vehicle using the following procedure:
  12. 8.1. Pull the sunroof sunshade (2) towards the left side of the vehicle in order to disengage the guides on the right side sunroof sunshade.
    8.2. Pull the sunroof sunshade out between the glass panel and the roof.
  13. Remove the sunroof sunshade handle (4) from the sunroof sunshade by compressing the back side of the sunroof handle (4) together and sliding the sunroof handle (4) out.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 280687  Size: MH
  1. Install the sunroof sunshade handle (4) into the sunroof sunshade (2) by pressing the sunroof sunshade handle (4) into place until the tabs seat behind the sunroof sunshade (2).
  2. Install the sunroof sunshade (2) into the vehicle between the roof and the glass panel.
  3. Close the sunroof.
  4. Position the guides on the right side sunroof sunshade to the guide rail.
  5. Engage the guide on the left rear sunroof sunshade to the guide rail.
  6. Use a flat bladed tool.

  7. Slide the sunroof sunshade (2) to the open position.
  8. Engage the guide on the left front sunroof sunshade to the guide rail.
