Sunroof Maintenance

Do not use an abrasive cleaner on the roof vent window. Using an abrasive cleaner may scratch and permanently damage the tinted coating on the inside of the window.

Apply the silicone lubricant GM Part 12345579 or the equivalent to the weatherstripping. Applying silicone lubricant will have the following effects:

    • Prolong weatherstrip life
    • Help seal the weatherstrip
    • Assist in eliminating squeaks
