DRIVE AXLE OIL LEAK THRU VENT REPLACE W/NON VENTED BOOT

UNDER CONDITIONS OF HEAVY USAGE IN HOT WEATHER, SOME "A AND X" CARS MAY EXHIBIT GREASE LEAKAGE THRU VENT HOLE LOCATED IN THE RIGHT HAND, INNER DRIVE AXLE BOOT. THIS CONDITION CAN BE CORRECTED BY REPLACING THE RIGHT HAND INNER BOOT WITH A NON-VENTED BOOT. PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE NON-VENTED BOOT, THE JOINT SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY CLEANED AND RELUBRICATED WITH THE GREASE INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE KIT. REFER TO APPLICABLE SERVICE MANUAL FOR SERVICE PROCEDURES. TRIPOT HI-TEM SEAL SERVICE KIT P/N 26003940(OR EQUIVALENT). USE APPLICABLE FLAT RATE TIMES.
