  5. Remove the bolts/screws from the resonator bracket assembly (3) to the resonator assembly (1).
  6. Remove the bracket.
  7. Loosen the clamp (5) from the coupling (9) and remove the coupling and baffle (7) from the resonator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 202568 Size: SH
  1. Install the coupling (9) and baffle (7) to the resonator (1) and tighten the clamp (5).
  2. Install the resonator assembly to the resonator bracket assembly (3).
  3. Install the bolts/screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts/screws to 3 N·m (23 lb in).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
