The master cylinder has a primary and a secondary hydraulic system. Each system has a separate piston. One piston delivers pressure to the front brakes.
The primary and the secondary systems of the master cylinder are hydraulically isolated. The primary and the secondary hydraulic systems must be bled separately. Either system can be bled first.
Two threaded caps are used in order to seal the master cylinder reservoir. A diaphragm is located under each cap in order to keep out dirt and other contaminants.
