Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 241620 Size: SH
  1. Remove the brake caliper (front shown). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 156335 Size: SH
  2. Suspend the caliper.
  3. Remove the inner brake pad.

    4. Object Number: 22104 Size: SH
  4. Slide the outer brake pad along the rail in the brake caliper housing to the notches.
  5. Remove the outer brake pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 22104 Size: SH
  1. Inspect the brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Inspection .
  2. Install the outer brake pad into the brake caliper housing.
  3. Install the inner brake pad onto the brake caliper mounting plate.

    4. Object Number: 241622 Size: SH
  4. Install the brake caliper (rear shown). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

    5. Important: Do not move the vehicle until a firm pedal is obtained.

  5. Pump the brake pedal several times in order to make sure the pedal is firm.
  6. Check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder.
