Foreign material or loose parts are hindering the movement of the yoke.

Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly and remove the obstruction. If the obstruction is not easily cleared, install a new turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.

Broken or missing detent or cancelling springs

Replace the switch assembly.
