The idle speed is incorrect.

Refer to Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Engine Controls.

The shift cable is not in adjustment.

Adjust the shift cable. Refer to Shift Cable Adjustment .

The forward clutch has failed and is dragging.

Replace the forward clutch.

Refer to applicable Allison Transmission Service Manual.
