Does the test lamp flash?

Repair the open in CKT 19 (DK GRN) between the turn/hazard lamp switch and the hazard lamp.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the turn/hazard lamp switch. Refer toTurn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

  2. Connect a test lamp from cavity E 7 of the turn/hazard lamp switch to ground.

Does the test lamp flash?

Repair the open in CKT 18 (YEL) between the turn/hazard lamp switch and the hazard lamp.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the turn/signal lamps switch.
  2. Connect a test lamp from cavity A 7 of the turn/hazard lamp switch to ground.

Repair the open in CKT 14 (LT BLU) between the turn/hazard lamp switch and the hazard lamp.

  2. Connect a test lamp between the turn/hazard lamp switch, cavity E 1 and ground.

  2. Connect a test lamp from cavity H 8 (GRY) in the turn/hazard flasher connector to ground.

Repair the open in CKT 1696 (GRY) between the turn/hazard lamp switch and the IP wiring harness junction block.

Measure the resistance in CKT 1697 (PPL) between cavity H 7 in the IP wiring harness junction block connector and cavity E 9 in the turn/hazard lamp switch connector with a J 39200 .

Is the resistance greater than the specified value?

1 ohms
