1. Disconnect the windshield wiper switch connector .
2. Connect a J 39200 DMM from cavity E 4 to cavity E 5 of the windshield wiper switch connector. Refer to J 39200 .
3. Measure the resistance as the wiper switch is turned through the range of delay positions.

Are the resistances equal to the specified values?

680ohms-430Kohms

Replace the windshield wiper switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

Replace the windshield wiper pulse control module on the RH side of the steering column support.
