1. Disconnect the windshield washer pump connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or RUN position.
3. Turn and hold the windshield wiper switch to the WASH position.
4. Connect a test light from CKT 228 (RED) at the windshield washer pump connector to ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Connect a test light from CKT 228 (RED) to CKT 150 (BLK) at the windshield washer pump connector while holding the windshield wiper switch to the WASH position.

Does the test light illuminate?

1. Connect a test light from CKT 228 (RED) at the windshield wiper switch connector to ground.
2. Turn and hold the windshield wiper switch to the WASH position.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the windshield washer pump.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Locate and repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the windshield washer pump connector and G 200.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 228 (RED) between the windshield wiper switch connector and the windshield washer pump connector.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Replace the windshield wiper switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.
