Washers Always On P32 w/ Pulse

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Disconnect the wiper/washer switch connector from the windshield wiper pulse control module.

Did the washer pump continue to operate?

Go to Step 3

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column-Tilt.

Did you complete the repair?

System OK

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the wiper/washer wire harness from the windshield wiper pulse control module.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Did the washer pump stop operating?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the pulse wiper control module.

Did you complete the repair?

--

System OK

Repair the short to ground in CKT 94 (PNK) between the pulse wiper control module connector, cavity B and the wiper/washer body builder provision connector.

Did you complete the repair?

Repair the short to B+ in CKT 94 (PNK) between the windshield wiper and washer switch and the provisions for wiper/washer motor connector C207, cavity B.
