  1. Ignition in RUN.
  2. Cruise control switch ON.
  3. Probe the RED (274) wire at the cruise control switch connector with a grounded test lamp.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Locate and repair the open RED (274) wire or the open circuit breaker.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Cruise control switch ON.
  3. "RESUME/CANCEL" switch depressed.
  4. Connect a grounded test lamp to the YEL (277) wire at the cruise control switch connector.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

--

Go to Step 5

Replace the cruise control switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Cruise control switch ON.
  3. "RESUME/CANCEL" switch depressed.
  4. Connect a grounded test lamp to the YEL (277) wire at the cruise control module.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Locate and repair the open DK GRN (83) wire between the cruise control switch and the cruise control module.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Replace the cruise control module.
