  1. Remove the horn relay.
  2. Probe the relay socket at terminal 87 using a grounded test lamp.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair the short circuit between the horn and the horn relay.

  1. Remove the horn relay.
  2. Connect a test lamp to the positive battery terminal.
  3. Use the test lamp to probe terminal 85 (PPL 44).

Does the test lamp illuminate?
