Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1347767 Size: SH
  1. Remove the electric motor actuator. Refer to Electric Motor Actuator Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1339811 Size: SH
  2. Remove the left differential carrier assembly bushing and mounting bracket. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Bushing and Bracket Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1339713 Size: SH
  3. Remove the disconnect housing bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1339720 Size: SH
  4. Remove the disconnect housing.

    5. Object Number: 1347762 Size: SH
  5. Remove the clutch fork, clutch assembly, thrust washer, and gasket from the disconnect housing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1347762 Size: SH
  1. Install the clutch fork, clutch assembly, thrust washer, and gasket in the disconnect housing.

    2. Object Number: 1339720 Size: SH
  2. Install the disconnect housing.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1339713 Size: SH
  3. Install the disconnect housing bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the disconnect housing retaining bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

  4. Install the left differential carrier mounting bracket. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Bushing and Bracket Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 1347767 Size: SH
  5. Install the electric motor actuator. Refer to Electric Motor Actuator Replacement .
