New service PROMS, referred to as MEMCALS in the shop manual, have been released for 1987 Corvettes equipped with manual transmissions.
These PROMs will address comments of poor idle stability with a cold engine and tip-in hesitation during warmup.
If normal engine diagnostics are unsuccessful in repairing one or both of the above conditions, the PROM should be replaced with the appropriate PROM from the table below:
