- Disconnect connector C219.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Connect a DMM between C219 terminal C leading towards the instrument
panel electrical center and ground.
- Measure the voltage.
Is the voltage within the specified values?

- Disconnect the wiper motor connector.
- Ignition switch in the ON position.
- Turn the wiper/washer switch to LO.
- Connect a DMM between the wiper motor connector terminal B and
ground.
- Measure the voltage.
Is the voltage within the specified values?

| Repair the open in CKT 143 between the instrument panel
electrical center and the wiper motor connector.

- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Connect a DMM between the wiper motor connector terminal A and
ground.
- Measure CKT 150 for continuity to ground.
Is the resistance to ground less than the specified value?

WSW MiniFuse® #10 in the instrument panel electrical center for an open
circuit.

- Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor.
- Connector C219 is still disconnected.
- Remove the WSW MiniFuse® #10 from the instrument panel electrical
center.
- Connect a DMM between C219 terminal C leading towards the instrument
panel electrical center and ground.
- Check CKT 143 for continuity to ground.
Is CKT 143 shorted to ground?

- Reconnect the wiper motor connector.
- Reconnect C219.
- Connect an ammeter (0-30 AMP) across the fuse block terminals
used for the WSW MiniFuse® #10.
- Operate the windshield wiper motor.
Is the amperage being drawn by the wiper motor within the specified
values?

- Reconnect the wiper motor connector.
- Disconnect C219.
- Connect a (30 amp) fused jumper wire between connector C219 terminal
C and terminal B.
- Connect another (30 amp) fused jumper wire between connector C219
terminal C and terminal A.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Does the wiper motor begin to operate in the low speed position?
