- Park the vehicle on a flat surface.
- Inspect the fit of the door window to the weatherstrips.
- Inspect the fit of the removable roof panel to the body.
- Inspect the joint where the roof weatherstrip meets the windshield pillar weatherstrip and where the roof weatherstrip meets the lock pillar weatherstrip.
- Inspect the windshield weatherstrip.
- Inspect the rear compartment lid weatherstrip.
- Perform a generalized water test using a test stand if that is necessary to determine where to perform a localized test.
