Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 214133 Size: SH
  1. Open the folding top stowage compartment lid.
  2. Remove the retainer from the lock pillar end of the seal.
  3. Pull the molded end of the seal from the lock pillar.
  4. Pull the weatherstrip from the stowage compartment flange.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 284778 Size: SH
  1. Apply a bead of sealer to the front of the lock pillar stowage compartment seal surface and to the surround flange as shown in the illustration.

    2. Object Number: 214133 Size: SH
  2. Remove the paper backing from the adhesive on the bottom of the molded ends of the weatherstrip.
  3. Locate the molded ends of the weatherstrip to the lock pillars.
  4. Tuck the outboard lip of the seal underneath the flange of the quarter panels.
  5. Secure the molded ends of the weatherstrip with the retainers.
  6. Firmly secure the weatherstrip to the stowage compartment flange.
