The clutch driven plate is oil soaked.
|
- Replace the clutch driven plate.
- Correct the oil leak.

The clutch driven plate has been overheated.
|
- Allow the system to cool, if necessary.
- Inspect the clutch driven plate for damage.
- Replace the clutch driven plate, if necessary.

The clutch driven plate is not seated.
| Attempt to seat
the clutch driven plate:
Make 30 to 40 normal starts. DO NOT overheat.
|
The facing
are worn or torn from the clutch driven plate.
| Replace the clutch driven plate.

The clutch pressure plate diaphragm spring
is weak.
|
- Inspect the condition of the clutch pressure plate diaphragm spring.
- Replace the clutch pressure plate, if necessary.

The clutch pressure plate and or the engine
flywheel are warped
|
- Measure the runout of the clutch pressure plate and the engine
flywheel.
- The runout of the clutch pressure plate or the engine flywheel
should not exceed:
Specification 1.25 mm (0.050 in) - Replace the clutch pressure plate and or the engine flywheel,
if necessary.
