Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 296200 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the outside (ambient) air temperature sensor.

    2. Object Number: 82160 Size: SH
  2. Remove the push-in retainer securing the sensor to the RH side of the lower radiator support.
  3. Remove the sensor from the radiator support.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 82160 Size: SH

    Important: The outside (ambient) air temperature sensor must be orientated so that the sensor probe end is inboard and the electrical connector is outboard.

  1. Install the outside (ambient) air temperature sensor to the lower radiator support.
  2. Install the push-in retainer to secure the sensor to the radiator support.

    3. Object Number: 296200 Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
