1. Disconnect the seatbelt switch connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.

Is the Seatbelt Indicator illuminated?

1. Connect a fused jumper between terminals A and B of the seatbelt switch connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.

Is the Seatbelt Indicator illuminated?

Go to Step 4

Test and repair circuit 238 for an open or high resistance.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 5

Test and repair the seatbelt switch ground circuit 150 for an open or high resistance.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Test and repair circuit 238 for a short to ground.

Did you find and correct the condition?

--

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Replace the seatbelt switch. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 9

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 9

--

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
