Inspect the PKT/LP MiniFuse® #6 for an open.

Is the fuse open?

--

Go to Step 3

With the ignition OFF and the headlamp switch OFF, replace the PKT/LP MiniFuse® #6.

Does the fuse open immediately?

--

Go to Step 4

Repair the short to ground in circuit 240.

Is the repair complete?

--

Repair the short to ground in circuit 9.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the park lamp switch ON.
  2. Using a DMM backprobe between connector C209 terminal Z and ground.
  3. Measure the available voltage at connector C209 terminal Z.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 240.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 13

  1. Using a DMM, backprobe between connector C209 terminal R and ground.
  2. With the park lamp switch ON measure the available voltage at connector C209 terminal R.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Replace the headlamp switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the underhood electrical center connector C2.
  2. Connect a test light between the underhood electrical center connector C2 terminal D11 and ground.
  3. Headlamp switch still in the PARK position.

With the park lamp switch ON does the test light illuminate?

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 9 between connector C209 and the underhood electrical center connector.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 13

Test and repair the individual park lamp feed and ground circuits, if OK replace the inoperative bulbs as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 13

  1. Clear any DTCs which may have set. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Clearing .
  2. Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
