All Rear Park Lamps Inoperative

  1. Remove the LH license lamp bulb from its socket.
  2. Connect a test light between the LH license lamp socket terminal A and ground.
  3. Move the headlamp switch to the PARK position.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 3

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 150 between splice pack 400 and G401.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 11

  1. Disconnect the connector C400.
  2. Connect a test light between C400 terminal E and ground.
  3. Move the headlamp switch to the PARK position.

Does the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 7

  1. Disconnect the connector C140.
  2. Connect a test light between C140 terminal A and ground.
  3. Move the headlamp switch to the PARK position.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 8

  1. Disconnect the underhood electrical center connector C3.
  2. Connect a DMM between C140 terminal A and the electrical center connector C3 terminal B12.
  3. Measure for continuity in circuit 9 between these two connectors.

Is circuit 9 continuous between these two connectors?

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 9 between the connector C400 terminal E and the rear park lamps.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 11

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 9 between the connectors C140 terminal A and C400 terminal E.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 11

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 9 between the connector C140 terminal A and the underhood electrical center connector C3 terminal B12.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 11

Replace the underhood electrical center.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Clear any DTCs which may have set. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Clearing .
  2. Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
