  1. Disconnect the power antenna connector.
  2. Connect a test light between terminal A of the power antenna connector and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Inspect the RDO/ANT MiniFuse® #24 for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Go to Step 4

  1. Power antenna connector is still disconnected.
  2. Replace the RDO/ANT MiniFuse® #24.

Does the fuse open immediately when it is installed?

Repair a short to ground in CKT 40.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 40.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect the DMM between terminal C and ground.
  2. Measure CKT 150 for continuity to ground.

Is CKT 150 continuous to ground?

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 150 between the power antenna assembly and G302.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 16

  1. Connect the test light between terminals B and C at the power antenna connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  3. Turn the radio ON.

Does the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 10

Replace the power antenna assembly. Refer to Power Antenna Assembly Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 16

  1. Remove the Bose® MiniRelay #43 from the instrument panel electrical center.
  2. Connect a test light between ground and the CKT 145 terminal in the instrument panel electrical center which is used for the Bose® MiniRelay #43.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  4. Turn the radio ON.

Does the test light illuminate?

Repair an open or high resistance in CKT 145 between the instrument panel electrical center and the power antenna connector.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 16

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect and remove the radio from the instrument panel.
  3. Connect a DMM between the radio connector C1 terminal 8 and the CKT 145 terminal in the instrument panel electrical center which is used for the Bose® MiniRelay #43.
  4. Measure CKT 145 for continuity between these two terminals.

Is CKT 145 continuous between these terminals?

Go to Step 15

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 145 between the Bose® MiniRelay #43 and the radio connector C1.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 16

Replace the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

  1. Clear any DTCs which may have set.
  2. Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
