Inspect the HAZT/SIG fuse #15 for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Repair the short to ground in circuit 1739.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the hazard warning switch jumper harness connector C215.
  2. Turn the ignition ON.
  3. Connect a test light from the C215 harness connector terminal C to ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 1739.

Is the repair complete?

--

  1. Connect a fused jumper wire from the C215 harness connector terminals C to H.
  2. With the ignition ON switch the turn signal lever to the left and right turn positions.

Do the left and right turn signals illuminate?

Test and repair the hazard warning switch jumper harness circuits 1739 and 16 for an open or high resistance, if OK replace the hazard warning switch. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

  1. Reconnect the hazard warning switch jumper harness connector C215.
  2. Disconnect the multifunction turn signal lever pigtail connector C209.
  3. With the ignition ON connect a test light from the C209 harness connector terminal D to ground.

Is the test light flashing?

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 16.

Is the repair complete?

With the ignition ON connect a fused jumper wire from the C209 harness connector terminals D to G.

Are the left front turn signals flashing?

With the ignition ON connect a fused jumper wire from the C209 harness connector terminals D to F.

Are the right front turn signals flashing?

With the ignition ON connect a fused jumper wire from the C209 harness connector terminals D to C.

Are the left rear turn signals flashing?

With the ignition ON connect a fused jumper wire from the C209 harness connector terminals D to B.

Are the right rear turn signals flashing?

  1. Clear any DTCs which may have set. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Clearing .
  2. Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

  1. Remove the DRL L Micro Relay #40.
  2. Connect a test light from the circuit 14 relay terminal in the instrument panel electrical center to ground.
  3. Turn the ignition ON.
  4. Switch the turn signal lever to the left turn position.

Is the test light flashing?

Test and repair circuit 14 for an open or high resistance.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Replace the multifunction turn signal lever. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle

Connect a fused jumper wire from the circuit 14 to the circuit 1314 relay terminals in the instrument panel electrical center.

With the ignition and the left turn signal switches ON, do the left front turn signals operate?

Is the repair complete?

  1. Remove an inoperative turn signal bulb.
  2. Using a DMM test the resistance of circuit 1314 from the relay terminal to the bulb connector.

Is the resistance within the specified values?

0-2 ohms

Using a DMM test the resistance of circuit 150 from the bulb connector to ground.

Is the resistance within the specified values?

0-2 ohms
