BCM Scan Tool Data Definitions

The BCM Scan Tool Data Definitions contains a brief description of all Release System related BCM parameters available on the scan tool.

Hatch/Trunk Ajar switch: The scan tool displays Open or Closed. When the hatch/trunk is open, the scan tool will display Open. When the hatch/trunk is closed, the scan tool displays Closed.

Hatch/Trunk Release Switch: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. When the hatch/trunk release switch is pressed, the scan tool will display Active. When the switch is released, the scan tool displays Inactive.

Folding Top Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays Open or Closed. When the folding top is open, the scan tool will display Open. When the folding top is closed, the scan tool displays Closed.
